Saab is awarded radar contract with the U.S. Navy

Work will be divided equally between Gothenburg and New York

Saab has been awarded a USD 50 million contract to produce and support a Multi-Mode-Radar with the U. S. Navy and Coast Guard, according to the U.S. Department of War.

Production, engineering support and services are part of the contract, which is expected to be completed by December 2028.

The work will be devided almost equally between Gothenburg, Sweden (51 percent) and Syracyse, New York (49 percent).

49 percent of the USD 51,454,380 contract is from the fiscal 2025 procurement, construction and improvement for the Coast Guard.
